My great grandma Maxine passed away this last Wedensday... September 17, 2008. She was a wonderfull little old lady. I loved her so dearly. We will miss her so so much and she will always be in our memories. There is a saying I read at her viewing tonight it was, " When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure". And that saying is so so true! I have been deep in thought these past few days about what I am going to do without her. She helped me and my family through the good times and the bad. I keep thinking about the GREAT times that we had together! Like playing dominoes, eating donuts, and LOTS of junk food! She used to babysit me when I was little, because we used to live next door to her until 2 years ago! I miss her so much and wish that she was here with us still. But we just have to remember that she is in a better place and she is happier where she is. And even know we cant see her... we know she is always there! And she gets to be with her husband that died 40 years ago and alot of other family members that we have lost in the past. I just want to say... WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA GREAT!!!

I have always thought that your Gma Great was a wonderful lady! (& I only met her a handful of times) I always loved how you guys called her Gma Great instead of Great Gma, it definetly fit her. (in fact yesterday I was trying to think if I had ever even heard her real name. I didn't know what it was until I just read it here on your blog :D!)

I agree with you about that saying that was at her viewing. Now her & the memories you have will be one of your most valuable treasures!

Give all of your family a big hug from us and let them know we are thinking of each one of you right now!

We love you guys!
